Introduction

Hypertectum Detail is a thixotropic, fibre-reinforced, one-component, liquid-applied polyurethane membrane for waterproofing details and connections on roofs. Thanks to its formulation, it cures quickly and forms a bubble-free membrane with excellent adhesion over the entire surface, excellent hardness and high resistance to mechanical stress.

Before you start

Remove loose material, dust, vegetation, salts and oil. Grind off loose parts with suitable tools.

Suitable substrates: concrete, terrazzo, roof tiles, sound acrylic and bituminous coatings and wood. No primer is needed only with concrete strength C20/25, moisture ≤5%, temperature 5–35 °C and RH <85%. Otherwise select the appropriate Hypertectum primer.

Application

Apply by roller or brush. Minimum total consumption 1.8 kg/m².

Where it goes

Wall-to-floor connections, pipes, chimneys, photovoltaic systems, air-conditioning units, gutters.

Cleaning and storage

Wipe tools with dry paper or cloth, then clean with a suitable solvent. Do not reuse rollers. Contains flammable solvents: keep away from flames and sparks and provide adequate ventilation. Consult the safety data sheet before use.

Pack sizes: 1 and 5 kg. At least 12 months unopened in a dry place at 5–25 °C; use immediately once opened.
